Psychiatric Services Rooted in Evidence-Based Care
Dr. Wemimo provides thoughtful, clinically sound care for individuals living with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. His services are tailored to each person’s needs, with a strong focus on medication management, patient education, and collaboration with families and other providers.
Dr. Wemimo specializes in managing
a range of psychiatric disorders
-
ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Despite its name, ADHD doesn’t mean that you lack attention. It means that it’s harder for you to control your attention or direct it to certain tasks. ADHD causes symptoms like difficulty focusing, trouble sitting still and impulsive behaviors. But it also allows you to “get in the zone” and hyperfocus on things you really enjoy.
-
Adjustment Disorders
A mental health condition marked by excessive emotional or behavioral symptoms—such as sadness, anxiety, or trouble sleeping—in response to an identifiable stressor or life change, like a divorce or job loss
-
Bipolar Disorder
A mental health condition that causes extreme shifts in mood, energy, and ability to think. These shifts can range from periods of feeling very high (mania) to periods of feeling very low (depression).
-
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
A mental health condition characterized by excessive, persistent, and unrealistic worry about everyday things.
-
Major Depressive Disorder
A common and serious mental health condition characterized by a persistent sad or irritable mood, or a loss of interest or pleasure in activities, that lasts for at least two weeks and significantly impairs daily functioning.
-
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
A mental health condition that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event, such as war, assault, or a severe accident
-
Schizophrenia
A serious mental health condition that affects how people think, feel and behave. It may result in a mix of hallucinations, delusions, and disorganized thinking and behavior.
Mental Health Care for Individuals
and Their Support Systems
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Dr. Wemimo invites the involvement of trusted support people — because when families and providers work together, patients feel more seen, supported, and empowered in their care.
Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or walking alongside someone you love, this practice is a safe place to ask questions, find clarity, and build a path toward better mental wellness — together.
